He was previously convicted of tax evasion last year, during which he moved the physical location of his shop, Eurohaus Motorsports, to a nearby town.

I still have no hope of ever seeing the $13k I got scammed out of, but all of this helps a little. I still feel sick that he’s still in business and doing it to new people...mainly because sites like Yelp and Google Maps are so “helpful” in removing negative but legitimate reviews. The first review on google maps should just be links to the shop’s tax evasion and theft convictions.

Glad to hear it. Realistically, if you mention the guy by name and shop name, and we give it enough traffic on Oppo, your post on how he screwed you would have to be at the top of Google when you look up the business, right?

At least he cant do it again for some time. Any chance he had assets that could be used to pay back some of the ripped off customers? Edit: just saw the mofo only got 10 days. Was hoping he got at least a few months.

How is he still conducting his business out of jail? Some associates that still keep the shop running?
I think I already told you the story of my friend who had a similar experience with his Corrado G60. VW forums were praising this little shop that installed AMG superchargers on the G-Lader engines while beefing up the internals. Right after he dropped his car off, the comments were turning a little sour. Games with new accounts of “friends” defending the guy started and so on. Turns out it was something akin to a pyramid scheme where he put the engine from customer #1 into customer #2's car etc.... He soon went bankrupt, and his company was registered as a British “Limited” which, opposed to the German counterpart GmbH (Company with limited liability) means almost no money down. Try reaching into a naked man’s pockets!
He finally got his car out of the bankruptcy with a poorly running engine that was worse than before, but the money paid in advance (in hindsight, never a good sign) was gone.

No chance, from what I’m told he basically just does services people could have done at a quick service shop to keep the lights on and continues to take big projects on, hitting the people up for “parts money” at the beginning and using that money to pay for personal items, pay previous debts, basically everything except parts for that person’s car. There’s already a tax lien against the business for failure to pay the state the sales tax they were collecting for years. He was posting pictures of boats and bikes he would buy with customer parts money before. The guy is bankrupt and owes a LOT of suppliers, fabricators, etc. a LOT of money.

It amazes and terrifies me how much these shit bags can get away with. He should have been locked up a long time ago. Hell he should have at least been prevented from running a business.

BKRM3's OPPO review is the 3rd result that pops up if you search “E90 M3", with 38k views and counting.
Somehow, ridiculously, this crappy little article, which is basically just a link to a similarly crappy video, is the second result, behind Wikipedia:

I wonder if it’s due to lack of manpower in the IRS or something. That definitely seems like something that shouldn’t have slipped under the radar, especially considering how he apparently flaunted his ill-gotten gains.
